We were the first to make fabricated and later extruded kitchen knife sheaths. It became the Knife-Guard brand. There are many reviews of the various brands of both types of sheaths. For the most part people are reviewing the same product, but with different brand names and colors. They come out of the same factory overseas. Look at the corner cutout of the felt lined fabricated ones. Do they look the same? That’s a sign that they were probably stamped out using the same die. In fact, my company made private brand sheaths for cutlery companies before outsourcing became popular. That’s why I have all these colors, but the product was always made in America. The only reason cutlery companies now source their sheaths overseas is that it’s very cheap.
